Scientific Visit by Accounting Students to the Central Bank of Iraq – Erbil Branch

Erbil, Kurdistan Region

A group of fourth-stage Accounting Department students conducted a scientific visit to the Erbil branch of the Central Bank of Iraq. The visit was supervised by Mr. Abdullah Saeed and Ms. Shya Radha, both lecturers in the Accounting Department.

The primary aim of the visit was to familiarize students with the banking accounting system and to give them practical insight into real-world financial and banking operations. During the visit, students had the opportunity to observe and understand various banking transactions, accounting processes, and internal financial procedures. Additionally, the students were introduced to the structure and functions of the Central Bank and learned about its relationship with regional banks. The visit served as a valuable educational experience, bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application in the field of accounting and finance.

This initiative is part of the department's ongoing efforts to enhance the learning experience through hands-on exposure and interaction with professional institutions in the region.
